§ Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what consideration he has given to modifying the present system of electoral registration so that the elector remains on the register of the constituency where he lives unless he informs that local authority that he has moved elsewhere.
§ Mr. JohnElectoral registration was fully considered by the Speaker's Conference of 1972–74, but it did not recommend any change in the law on the lines suggested by the hon. Member.
