HC Deb 26 July 1976 vol 916 cc68-9W
Mr. Gorst

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what is the most recent estimate of the balance of trade between the United Kingdom and Uganda; and how it compares with the last year for which figures are available.

Mr. Meacher

The crude trade balance—that is, the difference between imports valued cif and exports valued fob—with Uganda for the first six months of 1976 can be obtained from Tables II and V respectively of the advance version of the June edition of the Overseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom which is now in the House of Commons Library. Information for the year 1975 can be obtained from the December 1975 edition of the same publication.
