§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Minister for Overseas Development what is the total of British aid of all kinds currently being provided to Uganda; what projects and services this is being used to finance; and whether he intends to continue this 18W aid while the lives of British citizens in Uganda are at risk.
§ Mr. PrenticeWe are providing no direct aid to Uganda. We still supplement the salaries of 11 British personnel employed by the Uganda authorities; this is a commitment pre-dating the suspension of aid in 1972. It will cost £40,000 in 1976–77.
