HC Deb 26 July 1976 vol 916 cc27-8W
Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the cost of providing for children aged seven to 16 years at the Army Museum from 27th July to 28th August, war games, war films, war talks and Army displays.

Mr. Robert C. Brown

The additional costs to public funds of the National Army Museum's Children's Club 1976 are estimated at approximately £660. The club extends the work of the museum's education department through the summer holiday, and in 1975 it was very successful in providing the children who attended with an awareness and understanding of the history of the British Army.
