§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe operation of the Immigration Act 1971 and the rules made under it is kept under review. As I told the House on 5th July— [Vol. 914, c. 984]—I am examining urgently possible proposals for dealing with cases involving bogus marriages, where some change in practice or in the Immigration Rules may be desirable. I have no immediate plans for other changes.
