§ Mr. StrangAs circumstances vary greatly from place to place, I doubt whether it would be practicable to prescribe such a ban nationally. However, we actively encourage local, port and harbour authorities and marina owners to impose such local regulations or bye-laws as they consider appropriate to combat the rabies threat. I understand that some authorities and marina owners have already introduced, or are considering, such measures.
