§ Mr. Georgeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on the progress of schemes to fluoridate the Walsall water supplies.
§ Dr. OwenWalsall Area Health Authority has agreed in principle to the fluoridation of water supplies. Health authorities have recently been informed that £500,000 annually has been set aside to help meet the capital cost of fluoridation and that in allocating these funds the Department will normally give priority to those proposals judged to be most cost-effective.
