§ Mr. Shersbyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what points he has indicated to the London borough of Hillingdon are relevant to his consideration of the council's application for consent to demolish Heath House and 70 Long Lane, Ickenham; and on what date any such points were communicated to the council.
§ Mr. Guy BarnettMy Department wrote to the council of the London borough of Hillingdon on 24th February 1976 indicating that the following points appeared likely to be relevant to my consideration of the applications for listed building consent to demolish Heath House and 70 Long Lane, Ickenham which are unlisted buildings in Ickenham conservation area:
- 1. The importance of the buildings to the character or appearance of any part of the conservation area;
- 2. The condition of the buildings and the cost of repairing and maintaining them in relation to their importance;
- 3. The acceptability of proposals for redevelopment of the sites of Heath House and 70 Long Lane having regard to the character of the conservation area.
