§ Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will make a statement on current Government policy as to the role of Eastleigh Airport in the 1980s.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisPart 2 of the consultation document on Airport Strategy, published on 24th June, sets out a number of possible developments for the airports in South-West England, including Southampton (Eastleigh). No decisions on Government policy towards particular airports will be taken in advance of the consultations on this document.
