In 1975 the United Kingdom received supplies of zirconium from the following countries:

Ores:

  • Federal Republic of Germany.
  • Netherlands.
  • France.
  • French Territory of the Afars and Issas.
  • South Africa.
  • India.
  • Malaysia.
  • China.
  • Japan.
  • Australia.
  • USA.

Waste and Scrap:

  • Switzerland.

Unwrought:

  • Netherlands.
  • France.
  • USA.

Wrought, and articles thereof:

  • Sweden.
  • Norway.
  • Switzerland.
  • Federal Republic of Germany.
  • Netherlands.
  • France.
  • South Africa.
  • Canada.
  • USA.

No difficulties of supply have been notified to my Department.
