Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give full details of the numbers employed in his Department in 1974 and at the latest stated date, together with their salaries and the total costs of running his Department on both dates; what action he has taken to cut these expenditures; with what results; and what plans he has for cuts in the future.
