§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade, in the light of the increasing numbers of gas and chemical carrying vessels which are entering 557W service, and in view of the dangers of such vessels being grounded near United Kingdom waters, if he is satisfied that adequate knowledge of the position and depths over all wrecks and other likely hazards such as the pinnacles of rock found by HMS "Fox" off Holyhead in 1975 is available.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisIn view of the number of wrecks and other marine hazards around our coasts, I cannot be wholly satisfied, but the programme of surveys carried out by the Hydrographer of the Navy constantly enhances our knowledge of these matters.
