Nil. No spectacle frames manufactured outside the United Kingdom have been approved for use as National Health Service frames. Prior to 1973 the Department negotiated fair and reasonable prices 509W with the manufacturers, since when their prices have been subject to Price Commission control. There are ample supplies of frames.
