§ Mr. Lambieasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will institute an inquiry into the application to the Price Commission by oil companies for increases in prices for their products.
§ Mr. MaclennanThe Price Commission is responsible for examining any proposals for price increases which are notified to it to ensure that they comply with the Price Code, and my right hon. Friend does not propose any additional inquiry.
