§ The Attorney-GeneralThe available figures relate to Northern Ireland scheduled offences, not to all terrorist offences. During the period 1st January 1976 to 18th June 1976, 483 persons were convicted on indictment in respect of scheduled offences. During the corresponding periods in 1974 and 1975, 490 and 622 persons respectively were convicted on indictment in respect of such offences.
