§ Mr. Neubertasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection by how much the Retail Price Index has increased since the establishment of the Price Code and the Price Commission.
§ Mr. MaclennanThe Price Commission came into being on 2nd April 1973 and the Price Code commenced on 29th April 1973. Between April 1973 and May 1976 the retail price index rose by 68.5 per cent.
