However, a geographical analysis of direct overseas investment in the United Kingdom is given in "United Kingdom Balance of Payments 1964–74", Table 21, and in the Department of Industry's "Business Monitor M4", both of which are available in the Library. For portfolio investment, no geographical breakdown is available; global figures are given in the June 1976 edition of the Bank of England'sQuarterly Bulletin.
