§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieThe Government are concerned about the level of unemployment in the West Midlands. The measures announced in recent months by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to bring forward capital investment, together with Government investment, particularly in the motor and machine tool industries, will help the West Midlands as well as other regions.
