§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he intends to carry out the election manifesto undertaking to seek the removal of all United States nuclear bases from Great Britain.
§ Mr. HattersleyThe election manifesto stated that starting from the basis of the multilateral disarmament negotiations we would seek the removal of US Polaris bases from Great Britain. When the present talks on mutual and balanced force reductions in central Europe are concluded we may be able to move towards such multilateral negotiations.
