HC Deb 29 January 1976 vol 904 cc327-8W
Mr. Hayhoe

asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will reduce the number of aircraft movements per- mitted at night at Heathrow in 1976 and extend the duration of the specified night hours.

Mr. Clinton Davis

As I explained in the reply I gave on 19th December—[Vol. 902, c. 896]—to my hon. Friend the Member for Edmonton (Mr. Graham), the Heathrow 1976 summer night jet quota will remain at the 1975 level of 2,600. The question of the duration of the specified night hours is one of the subjects being considered in the longer-term policy review now being undertaken.
