§ Mr. William RossI have received representations through the Educational Institute of Scotland and Members of Parliament, and also from individual teachers and groups of teachers, about the proposed deferment of the new grading structure. I have replied along similar lines in my answer of 19th January—[Vol. 903, c.330.]—to the hon. Member for Moray and Nairn (Mrs. Ewing). I have since arranged for the Under-Secretary of State to meet the Scottish Teachers Salaries Committee on 9th February.
