§ Mr. Cordleasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will publish the report on the effect of indirect taxes other than VAT on distributors of alcoholic drinks, commissioned by her Department; and if she will make a statement dealing with the action she proposes should be taken as a result of the findings contained in the report.
§ Mr. MaclennanMy right hon. Friend has not yet received the report to which the hon. Gentleman refers and is, therefore, unable to make a statement on any action which might be appropriate. My right hon. Friend would expect to publish the report when it has been completed.
