HC Deb 26 January 1976 vol 904 c38W
Mr. Cartwright

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) whether the Greenwich and Bexley Area Health Authority will be free to decline to use shared facilities at the Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital, Woolwich, if it finds that the reorganisation of existing hospital services needed to accommodate such joint use would adversely affect the services provided in the area;

(2) when she expects to receive the report of the working party set up to consider joint civilian and military use of the Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital, Woolwich.

Dr. Owen

No date has been fixed for the working party to report to the special steering group set up jointly by the Department and the Ministry of Defence. Any conclusions reached will, of course, have to be acceptable to both defence and health service interests.
