Mr. Pattie

asked the Secretary of State for Trade when he expects to be in a position to make a further statement amplifying his statement of 29th July 1975 on CAA Review policy.

Mr. Clinton Davis

Shortly.

Mr. Warren

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what negotiations are in progress to reduce the rights of foreign airlines to conduct revenue earning operations into and out of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Clinton Davis

No formal negotiations are at present in progress with this aim in view. However, in certain cases negotiations are in prospect which may lead to a reduction in the rights of foreign airlines unless we obtain compensating advantages.
