§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish the names of members and terms of reference of the working party he has set up to consider financial assistance to Birmingham City Council in respect of the staging of the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
§ Mr. Denis HowellA working party of Birmingham City Council and Sports Council officials has undertaken a study of the likely costs involved if Birmingham's application to stage the Commonwealth Games in 1982 were to be successful. Officials of the Sports Council, the City Council and my Department are now considering the level of possible Sports Council grant towards and the city's borrowing requirements for the sports facilities that would be required.
