§ Mr. MeacherSome 400,000 forms A.498 were printed and distributed to the local offices of the Department for issue to heads of one-parent families in receipt of supplementary benefit. It is too early yet to say how many of these lone parents have decided to claim interim benefit. The total cost of paper and printing is estimated at £700.
