asked the Prime Minister whether he will transfer the responsibility for oil negotiations from the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster to the Secretary of State for Energy.

No. The House should assume that unless and until I make a statement to the contrary, I do not intend to change the allocation of responsibilities between my right hon. and hon. Friends.
