§ Mr. Denis HowellThe Countryside Commission's headquarters are at John Dower House, Crescent Place, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The Commission also has an office at 8 Broad Street, Newtown, Powys which is its office for Wales. The numbers employed at these offices are 103 and 6 respectively. The Commission also has the use of two rooms536W at its former premises, 1–2 Cambridge Gate, London, but has no staff there.
