- (4) how many applications have been received from local authorities for financial assistance to meet the cost of storm damage.
§ Mr. Denis HowellI have no comprehensive information about the total cost of repairing the damage to property, 461W public and private, caused by the recent storms. Three local authorities have written about grants towards repair work, but I am not in a position to add to the statement that my right hon. Friend issued on 7th January, a copy of which I am sending to my hon. Friend.
