§ Dr. SummerskillMr. Wreden is detained at Ashford as a place of safety in pursuance of an order made by the Crown Court on 17th December under the Criminal Procedure (Insanity) Act 1964 requiring his admission to such hospital as may be specified by the Secretary of State. He is located in a single room in the hospital at the remand centre, but he has association with other young men detained there. The opinion of the medical authorities at Ashford is that his physical health is satisfactory. Urgent304W action is being taken to find a suitable hospital vacancy for him.
