§ Mr. BishopSubsidy at the increased rates announced following the 1975 Annual Review will be paid during the early part of this year on hill sheep kept in eligible flocks during 1975. The slight deferment in the date of payment is a result of the replacement of the Hill Sheep338W Subsidy Scheme—with a December qualifying day—by the Hill Livestock (Compensatory Allowances) Regulations, which came into operation on 1st January last and which provide for a common qualifying day for sheep and cattle of 1st January.
