§ Mr. KaufmanInvestment has been discussed with representatives of both sides of industry at recent meetings of the 309W NEDC and its subsidiary committees. The need to increase its level in engineering and other industries is widely recognised. The Government have already introduced a number of schemes to encourage this and further measures are being considered.
