§ Mr. Wyn Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Trade what British industrial projects are under consideration for participation in their construction by Russian industrial organisations, following recent discussions with the Russian Minister for Trade in London.
§ Mr. DeakinsThe Anglo-Soviet Long Term Economic and Industrial Co-operation Programme lists certain sectors where the USSR is interested in participating 283W in the construction, expansion and modernisation of industrial enterprises in this country. Any participation would be a matter for commercial negotiation between the British industries and the Russian organisations concerned. There has been some general exploratory discussion, but I am not aware of any specific projects which are currently under negotiation.
