§ Mr. BishopThe cif price of cheddar cheese imported into the United Kingdom from New Zealand under the special arrangements laid down in Protocol 18 in the Act of Accession is £535.46 per long ton. In addition, monetary compensatory amounts, currently £34.27 per 213W ton, are paid to New Zealand in respect of cheese imported into the United Kingdom under the terms of the Protocol. There are no intervention arrangements for cheddar cheese under the Community system.
