§ Mr. MarksFollowing the Budget Statement last year by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the road construction programme for 1976–77 was cut by about 8 per cent. Any changes in the programme for subsequent years will be announced in the forthcoming White Paper on Public Expenditure.
