§ Mr. StrangOfficial records relate to grants paid for planting in the private sector and are maintained on a financial year basis. Grants paid in Great Britain for the years ended 31st March 1974 and 31st March 1975 were for approximately 56,000 and 53,000 acres respectively. More recent annual figures will not be available until after the end of the present financial year.
