§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many foreign-built ambulances have been bought by hospitals and ambulance services in the last year.
§ Dr. OwenSeven hundred and fifty-nine ambulances were delivered to regional health authorities in 1975 and 172 of these were supplied by an Irish firm. All were, however, constructed on chassis of British manufacture.
