§ Mr. PeartThere has been some fall in livestock numbers in 1975. However, the pig breeding herd is increasing and there are signs of an end to the decline in cattle numbers. Livestock quality is more difficult to measure, but milk yields have recently shown a substantial improvement and in general I believe that the quality of our livestock is improving satisfactorily.
