asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many forestry workers there were in 1974 and 1975.

Mr. Strang

On 30th September 1974 the Forestry Commission had 6,000 forestry workers in Great Britain. The figure for 30th September 1975 was 5,968. Figures for contractors and others working in Forestry Commission woodlands were 2,334 in 1974 and 2,159 in 1975. I shall arrange for a breakdown of these figures to be placed in theOfficial Report. There are no reliable figures available for the private sector.

they favour the prohibition of New York dressed poultry.
