However, the total number of successful applications from Wales, since the Employment Transfer Scheme was introduced in April 1972, is 4,876, and for fares for interview under the Job Search Scheme is 1,961. In addition, there was a total of 208 applications from Wales for speculative temporary transfer to seek work under the Job Search Scheme, since this facility became available on 12th September 1973. Information on the expenditure for Wales under each heading within the schemes is not available.
