§ Dr. OwenThe North Warwickshire Health District (Nuneaton) has 3.6 geriatric beds per 1,000 of the population aged 65 and over; the figure for Rugby and the regional and national average figures are 7.6, 9.8 and 8.6, respectively. It is for the Warwickshire Area Health Authority and the West Midlands Regional Health Authority to determine how and when additional geriatric beds can be provided in North Warwickshire, in the light of other needs in the area and region.
