§ 88. Mr. Molloyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a statement on the incidence of cases of private patients obtaining priority attention in National Health Service hospitals and then not paying their bills.
§ Dr. OwenI regret that comprehensive information on the number of private patients in National Health Service hospitals who fail to pay the whole or part of the charges recoverable by health authorities is not available centrally and could not be assembled without a disproportionate expenditure of effort.
