§ 93. Mr. Kershawasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what number of additional places in United Kingdom medical schools he proposes to make available to students from Iran, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
§ Mr. MulleyI understand that discussions are taking place between university authorities and the Saudi Arabian Government about the possibility of admitting a number of Saudi Arabian students to medical schools under an arrangement which would ensure that the places available to British students were not affected. I do not know of any special arrangements being made for students from Iran and Kuwait.
