§ Mr. Joel BarnettThe national accounts for 1975 are still provisional and are available only for the first three quarters of the year. It is, therefore, not yet possible to base such a table on 1975. On the evidence available, it is probable that compared with the table in Command 6393 based on 1974, a table showing the growth and use of resources based on 1975 would show a higher average annual growth of GDP up to 1979; a lower rate of growth of public expenditure; and a higher rate of growth of privately financed personal consumption.
