§ Mr. Moateasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will make a statement describing fully the guidelines to be used in the allocating of additional funds under Section 8 of the Industry Act for ferrous and non-ferrous foundries as announced in his statement of 12th February.
§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieNotes for the guidance of applicants under the ferrous foundries scheme have been available to the Industry since October 1975, and these will apply equally to the additional funds allocated by the Chancellor on 12th February. Copies are available in the Library and Vote Office. A scheme for the non-ferrous foundries industry is still under consideration.
