§ Sir John Rodgersasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will arrange for all householders on the proposed M25 Sevenoaks-Swanley link, as has happened in some villages, to be given copies of the plans and details of any public inquiry that may be held.
§ Mr. MarksThe views of the public are at present being sought about alternative routes for this section of the M25. The Post Office has delivered copies of a card explaining where the consultation document may be obtained and giving details of a local exhibition, to about 6,000 homes near the routes in question. Following this public consultation my right hon. Friend will announce a preferred route and thereafter formal draft proposals, which will be open to objection, will be published under the Highways Acts.
