§ Mr. MaclennanThe British Footwear Manufacturers' Federation has recommended to its members that they include in the selective price restraint scheme certain continuing lines of footwear, including childrens' footwear. The810W lines concerned will be nominated by individual manufacturers, up to 15 per cent. of their production. In addition to the scheme list of items for which prices are to be restrained by United Kingdom manufacturers, distributors may include within the scheme lines of footwear of their own choosing, within the broad categories of the list, provided this does not distort the proportion of imported merchandise in their sales.
