§ Mr. George Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when the last regulations were made prescribing the information to be included in rent books; what pieces of legislation have been passed since that date affecting points covered in such regulations; whether the regulations require the provision of information which is now erroneous or deficient as a statement of current law; and, if so, if he will list the points to which such error or deficiency relates.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe Rent Books (Forms of Notice) Regulations made in 1972 (SI 1972/1827), as amended by the Rent Books (Forms of Notice) (Amendments) Regulations made in 1973 (SI 1973/1055) which are currently in force, do not take account of alterations in the law contained in the Rent Act 1974, the Housing Act 1974 and the Housing Rents and Subsidies Act 1975.
