HC Deb 18 February 1976 vol 905 c720W
Mr. Mudd

asked the Secretary of State for Industry why an urgent memorandum from the hon. Member for Falmouth and Camborne forwarded to the Minister of State on 26th January and acknowledged by his Department on 27th January regarding the future of jobs in a textile factory at Hayle, Cornwall, was not passed to the Plymouth office of the Department in time for talks scheduled for 3rd February.

Mr. Gregor Mackenzie

My officials in Plymouth were fully aware of the contents of the memorandum before the meeting on 3rd February.
