§ Dr. SummerskillSection 47 of the Shops Act 1950 provides that a shop may be open on Sunday for the purposes of transactions mentioned in the Fifth Schedule to the Act, which do not include the sale of garden tools. I can see no early prospect of Government time being available for legislation on this subject.
